ABOUT US

Camarata Masonry Systems, Ltd. (CMS) was founded August 1, 2004 by Kevin M. Camarata and has grown to one of the largest and most decorated masonry, natural stone, tile and terrazzo subcontractors in the country. With hundreds of satisfied clients in multiple states and a host of international, national, regional and local awards for stellar craftsmanship, CMS is the chosen partner of many of the premier owners, architects and builders active in the United States.  What sets us apart is our staff’s extensive experience executing some of the largest and most complex projects built during the last half century. Prior to founding the company, Mr. Camarata was the Vice President and General Manager of the prefabricated panel division of a nationwide stone contractor based in Louisiana and, most recently, the President/General Manager of a multi-state stone and masonry contractor based in Texas.  Under his direction, monumental projects such as Minute Maid Park (formerly Enron Field), Reliant Stadium (home of the National Football League Houston Texans), The Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass Performance Hall, The George H. W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, The William J. Clinton Presidential Library, The Fort Worth Museum of Modern Art, The William R. Hobby Center for the Performing Arts and the Harris County Baker Street Jail (one of the largest county jails in the United States) were constructed.  CMS has continued this legacy with projects such as the Exxon Mobil World Headquarters Campus, Hines Global Headquarters, Rice University Music and Performing Arts Center, and the restoration of the Harris County 1910 Courthouse.

Camarata Masonry Systems, Ltd. is fully insured carrying workers compensation, general liability and umbrella liability coverage with significant limits provided by an A. M. Best A rated carrier. In addition, we are capable of providing payment and performance bonds from an A. M. Best rated A++ carrier for any size project.
